TL;DR
Full and partial rewires for older Drogheda homes, done room by room while you still live there. Certified at the end, and we leave the place clean.
A rewire sounds daunting, but done properly it is planned, staged and tidy. We work room by room, keep the power on where we can, and chase cables in with as little mess as possible.
Old rubber or fabric wiring, no earth, or a board with no RCD protection are all reasons to rewire. Every job is certified by a Safe Electric registered electrician so you have proof for insurance or a sale.

Questions, answered
- How much does it cost to rewire a house in Ireland?
- It depends on the size and age of the house and whether it is a full or partial rewire. We quote per job after a survey, with a fixed price so there are no surprises. See our rewiring cost guide for typical ranges.
- Do I have to move out?
- Usually not. We stage the work room by room and keep power on where possible, so most families stay in the house throughout.
- How long does a rewire take?
- A typical three-bed takes several days to a couple of weeks depending on scope. We give you a realistic timeline in the quote.
- Will you make a mess?
- We chase cables in carefully and clean up as we go. Plastering to finish can be included or left for your decorator, whichever you prefer.
