Terms of Service
These terms
These terms set out how Boyne Electrical provides electrical services. They are illustrative for this demonstration website.
Call-outs and quotes
Emergency call-out rates are quoted before travel. Installation, repair, and project prices are confirmed in a fixed quote before work starts. If a hidden issue is discovered, any extra cost is agreed before proceeding.
Payment
Emergency and small work is payable on completion unless otherwise agreed. Larger jobs, such as EV chargers, solar, or rewires, may require a deposit to secure materials and a date. Payment terms are stated on the written quote.
Registered work and certificates
Electrical work is carried out by a Safe Electric registered electrician and the appropriate certificate is issued. Customers must provide safe access and disclose any known hazards or previous defects.
Grants
Where a job qualifies for an SEAI grant, we complete the application on your behalf and deduct the grant from the price. Grant approval is subject to SEAI's own eligibility criteria and terms.
Parts and guarantees
Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and equipment. Workmanship issues should be reported as soon as possible so they can be inspected and resolved. Guarantees do not cover misuse, neglect, or unrelated faults.
Liability
Boyne Electrical carries €6.5m public liability insurance. Liability is limited to the value of the work carried out, except where Irish law does not allow a limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. For any question, contact hello@boyneelectrical.ie.
